Outline for GOST-R certification system

GOST-R 인증마크

In order to export product to Russia, you need to check which certification your product belongs to.

  • - GOST-R certification : Russia national certification
  • - EAC certification : 5 countries single certification system, Russia, Kazahstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan

Current GOST-R certification system is EAC certification system which is on update, for product that is not EAC certified, considering it is applying GOST-R certification, product certification must be processed using appropriate one among two certification.

If product is not subject of enforced certification item for two certification,

  • - To prevent unnecessary during clearance, GOST-R certification and EAC certification exemption verification can be achieved
  • - To prevent unnecessary during clearance and for marketing effect, GOST-R self-certificate can be achieved

OST-R type and expiration date

Expiration date of GOST-R certificate is classified by LOT certification and Serial Production certification.

  • - Lot-Based Certificate: only effective on certain LOT
    For certain cases, factory evaluation is exempt
  • - Serial Production: Depending on product 1 year or 3 years
    For certain cases, factory evaluation is carried out by current certification judge and follow-up management during expiration date of certificate

Required document

  • - Product HS Code
  • - Product specification and catalogue
  • - ISO 9001 (If possessed)
  • - Domestic and overseas certificate and test report (If possessed)
  • - Business license for applicant
  • - Export contract (In case of LOT certification)
  • - Russia local agency information

※ Above list is main necessary document and based on request from judges, extra documents can be requested.
