- In Taiwan, the New Chemical Substances Act "Nomination and Notification of Chemical Substances" came into effect Oct 31, 2010, declared by the Taiwan Administrative and Labor Council.
- Chemical substances manufactured and sold in Taiwan require Nomination or Notification.
- The aim is to make a list of existing chemical substances in Taiwan.
- Currently manufacturers or importers must notify the Taiwan government of chemical substances manufactured in or imported to Taiwan.
